Cars.com wanted to increase brand awareness, drive more qualified traffic to the website and mobile application and ultimately take market share from its major competitor AutoTrader.
We created and designed a mobile campaign that helped claim “primetime online” ownership. The program leveraged on-air opportunities, increased the site’s video media presence and via mobile. It specifically targeted online activities where audience segments spent most time.
Our mobile ads performed well. Sponsorships spurred click-through rates over 2000% higher than industry averages. Cars.com garnered a 94% lift in mobile ad awareness, reaching respondents who were more likely to be buying or leasing a vehicle in the market.
