The Account Executive plays a media focussed and team support role. The role requires the ability to handle a number of projects at any one time as well as being able to respond quickly to journalist and team requests. The Account Executive will develop a clear understanding of the team’s requirements and objectives, be proactive in attitude and supportive to the team at all times.

About the role:
 
The Account Executive role at LEWIS Kuala Lumpur rewards a proactive nature, enthusiasm and drive. Your professional skills will be enhanced every day you spend at the company, and you’ll be working with a team that has your back.
 
You will play a key and visible role in the execution of integrated marketing programs for a range of B2B and B2C clients at LEWIS. You will receive intensive training on what it takes to be a successful PR professional and primarily be focused on proactive engagement and relationship building with media, bloggers and social media influencers, leading to positive awareness and coverage for each client.
 

The account executive is effectively the press officer on a PR account. He or she is responsible for day-to-day media liaison, fielding journalist enquiries, managing resources such as photos and press kits and preparing materials for reporting back to the client

 
About you:
 
You’re bright, personable and technology-savvy, with a passion for both traditional and social media, and a broad range of experience and interests. You will need a university degree in a related field with above average scores, knowledge of technology (both enterprise and consumer tech are important) and have excellent multi-tasking/organizational skills. Usage and an avid interest in social media channels will also get you through the door.
 
We’d love you to have 1-2 year's PR experience and hope you will be articulate, detail-oriented, creative, energetic and ambitious. Oh, and a strong sense of humour is key.
 
You should preferably be a Malaysian citizen residing in Kuala Lumpur.
